Dr Charlotte Braungardt
Head of Science
Charlotte (Charly) is an engineer and environmental scientist with more than 20 years of experience as academic in higher education. As freelance consultant at Challenging Habitat, she shares her curiosity and insights, through environmental science research, outreach, communication and education.
Matt Liddell
Technical Engineer
Matt is a Chartered Marine Engineer with nearly 40 years' experience as a sea-going and shore based marine engineer from apprentice to Chief Engineer to operational engineering and project manager. After a long career in the Royal Navy, he worked for the RNLI and for companies specialising in ship and superyacht management. More recently he has been consulting on a variety of environmentally focussed marine specific projects.
Ben Stuart
Operations Manager
Ben has 25 years of operational and managerial experience in the international maritime sector. He has worked in the charity sector for 10 years with a strong focus on both sail training and youth development.
Yasmin Deter
Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator and Degree Apprentice
Yasmin (Min) is our Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator and Degree Apprentice. She studies a Chartered Management BSC, at the University of Kent, alongside working for us. Min was our intern onboard Pelican for five weeks during the summer, mainly focusing on social media, and now she’s in charge of everything marketing for Seas Your Future.
