Seas Your Future, the youth development and tall ship charity, is excited to announce an open-deck event, in Plymouth, aboard the historic tall ship Pelican of London on Saturday, September 21st.
The ship will arrive on Friday September 20th with youngsters from the local Devon area aboard and will be docked at Trinity Pier, Plymouth. The tall ship will have been sailing on a STEM at Sea, Ocean Science based voyage since 12th September.
The public is invited to visit on September 21st between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
The tall ship is owned by the youth development charity Seas Your Future (www.seasyourfuture.org), offering young people sail training, maritime careers, and ocean science voyages for personal and character development.
Associated British Ports (ABP) will be welcoming the tall ship to their Trinity Pier at Millbay Docks. ABP’s Operations Manager in Plymouth, Adrian Buss said:
“ABP is excited to welcome the Pelican of London alongside Trinity Pier on the 20th September 2024. ABP takes pride in supporting visits from ships of this nature that support training and development of young people and others in maritime skills. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the Pelican of London while she’s berthed at ABP’s Trinity Pier.”
