The trustees and staff of the youth development charity, Seas Your Future, are
extremely sad to report the death of Mark Glover.
Mark sadly died whilst volunteering as a member of the crew of the tall ship
Pelican of London, at Sharpness Shipyard. He had been working
with colleagues to prepare the ship for departure on its annual 6-month winter
voyage later this month.
The charity is currently working very closely with statutory agencies, including
the Marine Accident Investigation Branch, who are investigating the

Mark was a highly valued and much-loved volunteer member of our team and
will be greatly missed by all who knew him. At this time, we send our heartfelt
sympathy to his family and friends.
