The planning of Project Costa Rica is well underway. Each week the scientists meet for about an hour in preparation. These meetings are led by our Head of Science Dr. Charlotte Braungardt.
Our chosen scientists for Project Costa Rica are: Jeremy DeMoss, Sari Ponnet, Thomas Stone, Hannah Gibbs, Emily Murphy Gray and Megan Derrick.
This week the topic of conversation was the logistics for planning their research projects with guidance from Dr. Charlotte.
The idea of Project Costa Rica is to create research projects which can be repeated every year aboard TS Pelican, when she’s annually in Costa Rica. The Scientists are really setting up long-term projects which are super fascinating.
Project Costa Rica will begin on the 2nd of January 2022 so you will see lots more of these smiling faces soon.
