'My name is Conor Ó Cadhla, I’m from Tramore in Co. Waterford, Ireland. I am currently studying Pharmaceutical Science in S.E.T.U. in Waterford and hope to put my chemistry and science knowledge to good use on board the Pelican. On this voyage I’ll be undertaking citizen science experiments to add to the ever growing bank of useful data. Between the Brian Ború and the Pelican I have spent a lot of time sailing on board tall ships, and hope to continue with this. I aim to be a science teacher in the future and hopefully teach it on both land and sea.’
