Here’s a little bit of information about Dr Braungardt:
Dr Charlotte Braungardt (Charly) has been working with Seas Your Future for three years developing our Ocean Science research programme, and has sailed on Pelican several times to understand how theory and practice can come together on a Tall Ship. We are so grateful to Charly for the immense time and dedication she has given to this work, and especially for her incredible wealth of knowledge and experience. Charly brings to our organisation more than 20 years of experience in higher education, with particular focus on experiential learning, environmental research, sustainability, resilience education and personal development. She works as Associate Professor for Environmental Science at the University of Plymouth and engages in a freelance capacity with science communication, environmental education and citizen science through her new venture Challenging Habitat.
