We are thrilled to announce that we, Seas Your Future, a charity dedicated to youth development through educational tall ship voyages, has been honoured with the prestigious Maritime UK Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award for 2024. This award recognises the charity's outstanding commitment to encouraging diversity and inclusion within the maritime sector.
At Seas Your Future our vision is to offer a world of new opportunity and aspiration for young people, by providing real life experiences and an alternative form of learning on our tall ship voyages, encouraging equality, inclusiveness and passion through adventure and challenge. We cultivate personal growth, opening opportunities for diverse career options and promoting the importance of environmental sustainability and conservation.
We do this through residential sail training programmes that support the development of the physical, mental and social capabilities of young people, so that they discover and fulfil their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

"I want to say a massive thank you for everyone who was involved in allowing Ollie to have this amazing experience. He was allowed to be a lot more independent which has given him more confidence. But I think the biggest gain was working and building relationships with people of all different ages, experience and walks of life. He listened and took on board their differences and also what that had experienced and learned from life."
One of the key aspects of our approach is its emphasis on collaboration. By working with schools, youth groups, and other organisations, we ensure that our programmes reach those who can benefit the most. This collaborative spirit not only enhances the impact of our work but also promotes a sense of community and belonging among participants.
