Tall Ship Pelican will be featured on Saving Lives at Sea.
On Wednesday, in Brunsbuttel, the crew on TS Pelican undertook airlift training.
This training is undertaken every voyage in case of an emergency.
In the summer, our crew worked together quickly and efficiently with the RNLI to airlift a voyage crew member into safety.
Without undertaking this type of training the rescue would have been made a lot more difficult.
TONIGHT! You will see an insight into how great our team work together under a high pressure situation into getting the crew member to safety. This training really does pay off!
