On the 22nd of December, the tall ship Pelican of London had a visit from sailing students and instructors from the Antigua Yacht Club and the West Indies Sail Heritage Foundation whilst staying in Antigua! Captain Axel Schaipp gave the visitors a tour of the ship which included an explanation of how to sail a square rigger.
A member of the West Indies Sail Heritage Foundation stated: "I know at least one student who can’t wait to join the next ocean crossing!! We love to see more Tall Ships visiting Antigua and hopefully next time Antiguan sail trainees can experience sailing onboard a traditional square rigger."
