Ocean College

Ocean College offers young people 6 months of extracurricular learning aboard the PELICAN OF LONDON and a lot of land-based educational expeditions.

Sail Training Ireland

Sail Training Ireland works closely with schools, community groups, youth groups, charities, health workers, Garda Diversion projects, educational training organisations to identify young people (trainees) who would gain from the sail training experience.

of Sail Training.
ASTO is the UK’s national Sail Training Organisation, playing an important part supporting the sector and advising government policy in the Codes of Practice for Sail Training vessels.
For young people undertaking voyages on Tall Ships, as part of the working crew. An opportunity to get involved in watch-keeping around the clock, climbing the masts, heaving on ropes, setting the sails, navigating and much more.
Sharpness Shipyard provides drydocking with repair and maintenance facilities for a wide variety of marine vessels.
Hosts to the Titanic Maritime Festival.

Pelican is a frequent visitor to Liverpool's UNESCO World Heritage waterfront and a seasoned competitor in the Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta.

Highfield Boats is the world’s number one in the RIB tender sector and a global player in the 5 metre + sector.
A centre of excellence for seafarer training and provide funding support to the maritime sector.

Enabling young people to find direction and gain greater awareness of their own skills and abilities, to be better prepared to enter work, training, or education.
Pelican of London is surveyed annually by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to ensure she meets the required standards, before issuing a Certificate of Compliance, without which she cannot sail.
As members of the chamber, we receive excellent help and support and excellent networking in the South West.
Mark and his team provide invaluable advice and support as our nominated sailmakers.
As agents for our M&E on board David and team are always available to provide technical support, on site engineering or parts supply.
As an approved navigation and chart service provider we have chosen Poseidon based on their advice and service.
Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers provide us with comprehensive insurance cover, advice and support throughout the year and specialise in insurance solutions for Tall Ships and the wider marine industry.
City to Sea is an environmental not-for-profit, campaigning to stop plastic pollution at source by tackling the single-use plastic items most found on our beaches, rivers and oceans. They provide practical, solutions-focused initiatives, championing reuse over single-use.
SS Great Britain Trust is an education and conservation charity that runs Brunel’s SS Great Britain and the Brunel Institute, caring for the SS Great Britain on behalf of the nation. The charity’s specialist education programmes inspire future generations of maritime engineers, helping to address inequality and barriers into STEM careers.
